Slow going,

The is the results of my last few trips to the bay.  I'm having a really hard time coming away with anything nice this summer.  And it's been a while since my last nice complete meg.  It's not because of a lack of effort it's just not happening for me lately.  The first two trips I just scanned the beach for teeth.  On my last trip, last Friday, I decided to dig.  I found some decent untouched material... zone 12 I believe.  I dug up a big section of whale bone which came out in a bunch of pieces.  Put together, it probably was around 3 ft.  I ended up leaving it.  A nice hemi popped out which made the trip a little more bearable.

Sounds like you're psyching yoursel up for the hunt. Thats a good thing. Every time I get a bit funny, something good happens. Last time I was in the rut, I found the most perfect Chubitensis I could imagine. I'll post it on NJ trips soon. Meant to do that but I've been very busy. Look at the bright side, any day you find a snaggletooth is a good day........ Content Quality : 10 of 10
