I took a trip to the beach after work on friday.  The tide was up kinda high but it turned out to be okay.  The highlights from the trip would have to be the small 1.5 meg and the nice hemi.  It was nice to be out with the air temperature being reasonable for this time of year.

Crowshark in the mix - 2/16/2009

Not sure if you realized it or not but it looks like you have an uncommon crowshark (Squalicorax kaupi) tooth in your pic(s) - it's the leftmost tooth in the 2nd pic under the Meg. It's fairly uncommon to find Cretaceous material along Calvert Cliffs, at least the sections that I collect in. I have found a few crowshark teeth, many sandtigers, and even some teeth from the Eocene (Auriculatis, Otodus) from the cliffs. They are always a very dark or blackish color, and most of the time very worn. Nice finds! Daryl. Content Quality : 10 of 10
