Pinch me

This is another undescribed decapod from the Tupelo Bay Formation. I've found over a dozen of them over the years ranging from an inch across to over 5 inches. I rarely find individual pieces. They're almost always complete. Another interesting fact about this species is that all of the ones I've found have been male.

Please tell me more about the Tupelo Bay Fm.........I'm not familiar with it......what age is it?......your specimen appears to be one of the xanthid crabs, related to Stone & Mud Crabs Drool Quotient : 10 of 10
