These two teeth are the highlight of this fossil hunting season.  Both would be at least 1/4 - 1/2" longer if not for the feeding wear on the tip.  Neither are prestine, but both are in great shape for the size and make great additions to the collection.  The left tooth had particularly large cusps with a nice wave action.

My favorite finds are always the teeth with good color. They are very difficult to find in good condition, but today I found a really nice one with super color. This angustidens is covered on the front and back with all kinds of lightning strike color patters. To make it even better, both cusps are intact, the serrations are sharp, and the tip is still pointy as ever. The root doesn't have any chips in it, and the bourlette is even still intact. I have a soft side for pathologic teeth.  This one has a cool pathology where the blade bends towards the top. It also has small wrinkles present on the blade near the root.

A great tooth; great color, unique position, fully serrated, nearly complete bourlette, and compressed blade.

A high-quality multicolored angustiden. I love the colors, and of course the fact it has a nice tip, cusps and some bourlette.

What a specatcular river tooth! This one flapped out of the sand. There is slight wear on the tip, and luckily has most of the bourlette.

I never expected to find anything like this. When I first saw this thing underwater it was huge! The only small flaw is minor feeding damage to the tip, but I don’t care because everything else on the tooth rules. The serrations, root, bourlette, and cusps on this tooth are awesome! I love the color too! This is by far the best angy I’ve ever found to date.

My largest tooth by far. This tooth is just over 4 inches on the slant and would probably be close to 4.5 inches if it had a tip. Its the first tooth partial or otherwise I ever found while diving.

The thing I love most about this tooth is the shape. This is a lateral tooth so its very curved, almost like a serrated benedeni (wouldn't it be cool to find something like that!). Excellent overall condition.
