A little here, a little there...

Slim pickins so far this year. Here are some pics of several trips combined with the nicer specimens only shown here. Calvert beaches keep getting slimmer and $9 per person fees go into effect after Memorial day weekend at Ches. Beach. A couple pics are from some Potomac trips earlier this year. A trip last week revealed tons of sand covering all the former good stretches of beach, with lots of new downed trees and slump piles of junk dirt. So, new beaches must be found...

It has been really nice though bumping into so many collectors that know me through BRF or the MGS etc.

Two sets of pics; larger for zooming in and smaller file size for the dial-up folks.

Daryl.

Daryl, I miss that place so much already!! That stinks about the sand covering the good spots and the $9 fee starting up again... I know a couple of teeth that are missing from you pics... ;) LOL Content Quality : 10 of 10

Yep, I know the $9 fee will cause some folks to shy away for a few months, which isn't such a bad idea considering that the beach gets pummeled every day during the Summer months with all the Moms that drag their kids to the beach etc. It's a good time to try some other spots or look for new ones, or even do some traveling to out-of-state spots. The "missing teeth" is funny...they'll surface eventually :)

Great stuff Daryl, some real nice teeth in there. I was out recently a few times and saw the sand and poor conditions you mentioned, it's pretty rough collecting. Oh well, good people and nice weather make up for it. Hope to see you out there again soon. Content Quality : 10 of 10
