Myrtle Beach Sept 16-20th

We hadn't taken a vacation in like 4 years so we got a chance a couple weeks ago. So as soon as I knew we were going I started to get my gear together. I knew that people were going to be asking alot of what you digging for gold and curious as to wh I'm the onl person with baskets and a shovel. My daily routine would be to get up between 5-6 am and walk before anyone would get out and it paid off with my first fresh white tooth. I must have had over 100 people ask me what I was looking for. I even had one guy ask my name and shook my hand calling me the shark tooth king (maybe just for that day). That made me laugh. I did do really good shoveling and letting the tide do the sifting for me. I think the next time I can skip the basket(sifters)and just take the shovel. It was hard to leave not knowing when I'll get back. Steve

Loved the writeup and the picture of you and your shovel. its a dude vacation all the way. doesn't it feel great to be out there in a nice place doing what you love? the beach is especially great when so many of us are used to hunting in near sewer conditions! Content Quality : 10 of 10

Drool Quotient : 10 of 10
the diversity in ages of the finds is great - i'm thinking at least 40 million years separates the youngest from the oldest tooth pictured
