Super lucky day at the cliffs.

A month and a half ago.....

Early morning in Calvert County the usual access was blocked by an incredibly high tide. The recent freezing temperatures had brought down a slew of material. We fooled around with some beach collecting then decided to spend some time digging. I found a good size sand tiger sticking right out of the cliff face. This is a very rare event and quite a nice tooth. I had spent most of the day digging through a little pile for about 4-5 hours and I called tony over to see my new meg. Tony almost had a heart attack…actually I think he did have a small one.  But anyway it was cold but a amazing day.

A hair under 3-3/4……..The picture is of the tooth with the shorter end of the root by the ruler.
