Eagle Creeking with m4 and xiphodan

Late last year, m4 and Xiphodan came to Summerville to do a little fossil hunting. The three of us went down to Eagle creek to do a little collecting. My house is pretty close to Eagle creek and I haven't explored this area since I moved in almost 2 years ago. The layer was sparse, but it was present along the whole stretch we hunted. We barely had to move any earth to get to the fossils but we only dug a couple of inches deep. It really wasn't worth serious excavation and the subsequent back filling. Still, I managed to find a really pretty angustidens with awesome orange and yellow coloring. It has one of my favorite features on our Summerville teeth - marbling on the root.

This is the sum of a few hours of digging. Not especially productive.
A ground shot of the angustidens. I have since traded it to rock splitter for some really nice Eocene material from Alabama.
